mid 80s Colian, 53.5cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame built in the USA by Colin Laing. He got his start in Britain and subsequently relocated to Phoenix, Arizona.  Laing builds in the European tradition - an artisan rather than a technician. Simple yet clean lug-work. Fully chromed fork. Wonderful original paint and decals are in good condition. A bit of patina but, it only enhances this fabulous frame.

mid 60s Bottecchia, Champion del Monde, 57cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame made in Italy.  Chromed lugs, fork crown and socks, as wells as chain stay and seat stay socks.  Professionally re-painted and decaled by a previous owner.  Stunning frame and fork set.

late 70s Cuevas, 59cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame made by Francisco Cuevas in USA.  Francisco got his start building frames in Spain in the 1920s, moved to Argentina in the early 1950s and, then the USA in the late 1960s. Cuevas was a builder from the "old school" of frame building who believed it was imperative to learn how to handle a file before all else.  This frame features exquisite lug-work and, artfully brazed cable guides and stays.  The frame is signed by Francisco.  This is a stunning frame set in excellent condition.

mid 80s Masi Gran Corsa, 54cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame made by Masi.  One of the most respected frame builders in all of cycling, famous for their artisan-crafted bikes.  Exquisite paint and decals; fully chromed Cinelli fork.  A stunning frame and fork set.

early 80s Zeus, 59cm

Details: Hand-built steel framed bicycle built by Zeus; a Spanish classic built in the European tradition of design and construction!  Zeus has the distiction of being the only modern company to build a complete professional bicycle (frame and components).   Frame shows patina; scratches and chips in the paint and, there is one small dimple in the top tube near the seat lug (see pictures). Chromed fork crown, fork socks and dropout and, seat and chain stays and rear dropout.

1979 Trek 520, 59.5cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame made by Trek Bicycles in Waterloo, Wiscconsin, USA.  Paint shows some patina which isn't unusal for a frame set over 40 years old.  The 520 frame was designed for touring; the angles are not as relaxed as those on a racing frame.

1972 Atala Gran Prix, 58cm

Details: Hand-built steel lugged frame made by Atala Bikes of Milano, Italy.  This bike proudly wears it's patina.  Lots of chrome; head tube lugs, fork crown and sock, and, seat and chain stay socks. Ride it with pride or, this would be a great restoration project!
